PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Design Phase

  • Obtain client brief
  • Prepare master schedule
  • Prepare control cost estimate
  • Coordination of design team to ensure brief is adhered to and schedule maintained
  • Conduct Project Risk Analysis
  • PSDP

Procurement Phase

  • Preparation of tender documentation
  • Procurement of vendor and trade packages, hold detailed pre-award meeting with preferred tenderer
  • Prepare tender reports
  • Update cost estimates with firm prices
  • Expedite delivery of long-lead items

Pre-construction Activity

  • Prepare coordinated construction schedule
  • Constructability review
  • Design certifier as per BCAR 2014

Construction Stage

  • Chair weekly progress/coordination meetings with the contractors
  • Coordinate contractors
  • Manage all cost variations
  • Resolve all technical queries
  • Monitor progress, provide weekly schedule update and manage suppliers and contractors to meet schedule milestones
  • Monitor workmanship and agree rectification of defects
  • Prepare punch list and manage close out
  • Review and approve Contractor Completion Packs
  • Issue practical completion certs to contractors
  • Preparation of commissioning protocols
  • PSCS
  • Assigned certifier as per BCAR 2014

Commissioning & Qualification

  • Management and coordination of commissioning contractors and vendors
  • Pre-start safety reviews
  • Execute commissioning protocols to ensure safe and effective energisation of services and equipment
